Happy Caesar Chavez day! Here in the state capitol of California it is a holiday, but what kind of holiday I’m not sure, but it sounds pretty quiet out there in the world–too funny! just as I said that a leaf blower struck up it’s evil doings.
Meanwhile, I business is picking up. I’ve got a special order for wristwarmers underway, two checks in post, one for a bracelet set. Yea for commerce!
These beauties finally sold, and I’m surprised they lasted so long:
I love old metal bobbles with a good rust patina. Fabulous.
Well, it’s a nice day today. I’m giving into spring. What can I do? Off for coffee and a walk w/zephyr.
I will leave you with this third installment of Founds:
Finds #3
This pot is huge. I found it splashed with black paint out by the dumpsters at the community center near my park. I ran home, got the jeep and saved it. I sanded off the paint and smoothed off the crack, which I actually like. The vines drape well through it. And the ceramic now has a lovely worn patina. I’m always on the lookout for garden pots and this has been my best find.
