I like: long dirt roads that go nowhere, long river walks, coyotes, quiet, my dog, Italian coffee, indie-cafes, yarn, vintage buttons, bobbles of all sorts, oil pastels in the summer when they’re gooey, real letters, books, gardening, pebbles, seeds, beach glass, found objects, spinning–wool, not bikes. My bicycle has a basket and goes fairly slow.
I hate: car alarms, lawn mowers, loud people, loud people on cell phones, cigarettes, boom boxes, news helicopters at 6am, police helicopters at midnight, airplanes, malls, the freeway. I hate the word “career.” I don’t like anything that goes fast or makes noise, except my jeep which really is about escaping all of the above.
Sometimes I like people, and sometimes I don’t. I don’t ever like crowds. I always like wide open spaces. My “five-year-business-goal,” as asked once in a job interview, does not exist. My only plan at this time is to find the artist in me that once was and love my dog. Amen.

Thanks this littel bitt that I got to know about you made me go in to a dreem of many adventures full of suspens and mistery.
I hope that you find e the artist in you.

I love your blog AND all your goodies over at Etsy. Those Bronte books are uber-fab!
“My only plan at this time is to find the artist in me that once was and love my dog.”

You really do remind me of this artist I know. She’s a wild chick in a quiet way, her cobalt blue and black zebra striped leggings replaced by super comfy faded jeans. She taught me about great coffee, tequilla and the art of the roadtrip. I’ll have to introduce you two sometime . . .
I want to be just like you when I grow up!
