Yes, you are seeing that right, a couch in my back yard, out behind the sunflowers. I love this couch, but it won’t fit in my apt. (It belonged to my neighbor, she put it out on the street for FREE! And we all know how I feel about free.)
So, I snagged the couch and it has been sitting out there for over a week. I go out and curl up on it from time to time. There’s enough room for me and a friend–maybe even enough room for me, a friend and Zephyr.
The only way it’s going in my place is if. . . . I cut it off. GASP! Yep, you heard that right too. And it can be done. I have a book. (There’s a line you don’t want to hear from your surgeon.) So, that’s the plan. I’m sad, because I love the whole couch. And right now, I can’t cut, I can’t part with it. . . so there it sits, hanging out with the sunflowers awaiting its destiny. The good news is I have until it rains and that could be months. 🙂
P.S. Don’t the sunflowers look like they’re hanging out on the couch, watching TV, probably HGTV. All they need is popcorn.
