It’s unusual for Sacramento to be so very cold this early in the season. Usually, frost doesn’t come until January. But the foothills, only 3,000 feet higher, were snowed in yesterday. Schools closed, the electricity out. Oh, I feel for their cold nights! My niece, however, is thrilled to have the snowdays. When I was a kid those were the BEST days–better than Christmas. A completly free day to play in the snow. 🙂
These photos were shot at 7:45 this morning just before the sun came up. A little frost makes for beautiful photos.
Stay warm, d.
